If you want high paying government jobs, you can apply for teaching posts for government schools by appearing for entrance exams. You can appear for these exams once you are done with your D.El.Ed. Following are the most popular exams for the recruitment of teachers:

Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test(UPTET): Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) is a state-level exam conducted once a year for the recruitment of primary (classes I-V) and upper primary (classes VI-VIII) level teachers in the schools of Uttar Pradesh. Every year, Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) conducts the UPTET exam.

Central Teacher Eligibility Test(CTET): Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is a national-level exam conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education twice a year to shortlist candidates for appointment as teachers in classes I to VIII. There are two CTET test papers in the exam, that is, Paper-I and Paper-II. Candidates who plan to teach classes I-V need to give Paper-I and candidates who plan to teach classes VI-VIII need to take Paper-II. Candidates who plan to teach classes I-VIII need to take both the papers.

UP Assistant Teacher Recruitment: Candidates Who have two year D.El.Ed., Two Years D.El.Ed from Distance Education, D.El.Ed Special Education, Candidates with D.Ed Qualification can Apply for UP Assistant Teacher Posts. As well as UP Assistant Teacher Written Exam will conduct on Districts which have Regional Headquarters. UP Exam Regulatory Authority will conduct Recruitment for Primary Teacher Posts.
